Mit seiner Expertise in Radiologie, Gesundheitsinformationstechnologie und interdisziplinärer Forschung bereichert Jin Yamamura die Lehre in den Digital-Health-Studiengängen der IB Hochschule schon seit Längerem. Umso schöner ist es, dass er das Hochschulteam nun auch offiziell als Professor verstärkt.
Was Prof. Dr. Yamamura insbesondere auszeichnet, ist seine Fähigkeit, Praxis und Wissenschaft zu verbinden. Gerade in einem Bereich wie Digital Health, in dem Innovation und Interdisziplinarität zentral sind, ist das ein großer Gewinn. Unsere Studierenden profitieren von anwendungsnaher Lehre und neue Forschungsvorhaben können Impulse setzen, die direkt in die Gesundheitsversorgung einfließen – sei es bei Telemedizin, digitalen Therapieformen oder datengestützten Verfahren.

With his expertise in radiology, health information technology, and interdisciplinary research, Jin Yamamura has long enriched the teaching in the IB University of Applied Sciences’ Digital Health programs. We are all the more delighted that he is now officially strengthening the university team as a professor.
What particularly distinguishes Prof. Dr. Yamamura is his ability to connect practical application with scientific inquiry. In a field like Digital Health, where innovation and interdisciplinarity are essential, this combination is especially valuable.
